Designing a great user experience starts with knowing what your users want and need. I start with learning about the user to understand how to craft a design that creates an intuitive digital interaction. From there I work to design a user-centric solution that also meets business needs.

3M’s Road Safety website restructure
We set out to discover the obstacles in the visitor’s journey and clear a path to purpose, launching a redefined architecture that resulted in a 20% increase in web traffic and a 15% increase in conversions.
My process
Making optimizations to a website is not a one-and-done project. It’s cyclical – a process of gathering data, analyzing, making improvements, and gathering more data. In addition, not every project is the same. Some require more or less in a certain phase, and usually require that I practice project management as well.
Research & analysis
Gather and analyze data using tools like Adobe Analytics, Botify, Crownpeak, Medallia, and user tests
Site maps & wireframes
Create new sitemaps and wireframes using tools like Figma or Axure
Implementation
Implement the changes via tickets to web developers or directly on the pages.
Monitoring & optimization
Utilize tools like Crownpeak and Adobe Analytics to monitor site metrics and user behavior
